Villa Tarcela Resort  is located in the town of Valencia. From Tagbilaran city, it is the first resort you will see once you cross the Panangatan bridge just right after Dimiao town.

The town of Valencia is located in the southern coast of Bohol. It's 40 kilometers away from Bohol's capital city, Tagbilaran.
A land area of 10077 hectares and a population of about 25,000.
It has 35 Barangays or as the Boholanos usually call it, Barrios.
There are also two  hospitals, Internet cafe, Bank, Cultural Center, Gasoline Station, Bakery and a variety of specialty shops. The resort is only 1.5 km to the town proper.
This town is also a home of some prominent political leaders in Bohol. And to this day, there are a number of people from different countries who have settled and lived here for many years. They come from the USA, Germany, Switzerland, Holland.

You can also find attractions such as Badiang Springs, considered to be one of Bohol's tourist attractions. It is about  7 to 10 minutes drive by car. Badiang Springs has two swimming pools facing the ocean. These are supplied by fresh running water from a nearby watershed.

  can also be found in Valencia. Every second Saturday in January, the town celebrates a fiesta in honor of its patron saint, Santo Nino. It is celebrated with "Sinulog" street dancing and other delightful things to do.
Valencia is a peaceful and a friendly town. It was named after a seaport in Spain during Spanish colononization of the Philippines.
